At the entry level of Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health, the objective of this qualification is to provide learners with the skills and knowledge required to work in the WSH industry.
Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health
Upon gaining sufficient credits, the candidate may proceed to the Advanced Certificate level. Persons with this qualification would be at an intermediate skill level, allowing them to coordinate the implementation of WSH management systems at supervisory level within a department be it in large organizations or in small to medium-sized organizations.
Specialist Diploma in WSH
Specialist Diploma in WSH would be the next progression after the Advanced Certificate. This qualification is one of the requirements necessary for registration as a WSH Officer under the Workplace Safety and Health Act. Upon registration, one can then practice as a WSH Officer as mentioned in the Act.
Graduate Certificate in WSH
Persons at this level are at a professional and/or managerial level of practice, providing services either as an external third party to the company or within a company. They may be engaged as an independent party to evaluate WSH systems and performance that are not implemented and maintained by them. WSH is most likely their full-time responsibility.
